On Friday 16 July, The King and Queen took part in the Öland Inhabitant of the Year award presentation at Solliden on Öland.

Crown Princess Victoria's birthday was celebrated on Öland on Wednesday 14 July with the customary performance at Borgholm's sports arena. At midday, a gun salute was fired from Skeppsholmen in Stockholm.
